School Energy Days will take place in April and May

In April and May 2017, 15 Ukrainian schools will сonduct School Energy Days as the main informational event of the project “School of Energy 2.0”. The events will be organized with the support of the Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine" in cooperation with municipalities and local NGOs.

Aim of the School Energy Days is the presentation of the results of a daily energy monitoring in schools, the promotion of project achievements among other schools of their city, energy awareness-raising among the pupils, transmitting knowledge on energy consumption, as well as strengthening networks between schools, the public and city councils.

During the School Energy Days, a large number of events are planned, such as presentations, performances, interactive games, eco-quests, open lessons, trainings, demo energy audits conducted by the young energy managers of the project, and more.

In February, the teachers responsible for the School Energy Days at each school were specially trained on how to organize and conduct the events in an innovative way and how to attract the public.
