More Heat With Less Wood

The UNECE/FAO Forestry invites those involved in use of wood for heating and cooking (e.g. practitioners, project planners and coordinators) to present experiences gained working to improve wood energy for heating and cooking in households’ during the workshop on “More heat with less wood”. Experts from different backgrounds such as human health, environment, housing, energy efficiency, efficient heating appliances, wood mobilization and preparation, etc. will discuss how to successfully develop sustainable wood energy projects that are suitable for eastern and south-eastern Europe, the Russian Federation and central Asia.
