Webinar on the Ukraine Facility - a financial instrument from the EU to help the Ukrainian economy
Almost a year ago, the European Union approved the creation of the Ukraine Facility, a financial instrument with a budget of 50 billion euros. At the webinar, the invited speakers will answer the following questions: which principles of the Ukraine Facility are working and which need to be improved? How can civil society influence the transparency and efficiency of international financial assistance?
At the webinar, we will talk about:
- The role of civil society organizations in improving the single project portfolio and public investment management reform.
- Tools for civil society organizations to influence the assessment of the country's commitments under the Ukraine Plan.
- Basic principles of the Ukraine Donor Platform, opportunities for CSOs to participate.
- Stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Ukraine Facility Regulation, the Ukraine Plan and the Ukraine Investment Framework.
- Timeline for implementation and receipt of financial revenues to the budget of Ukraine.
Also, the organizers will present a Letter of Appeal to the leaders of the main European stakeholders with recommendations from NGOs dedicated to the anniversary of the implementation of the Regulation.
