We are launching a training course on public procurements!
Yesterday, at the webinar “Conducting Public Procurement in the Field of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources,” we gathered representatives of local authorities, including energy managers and those responsible for public procurement, representatives of interested NGOs and associations, and present them with the developments of the project “Reducing Corruption Risks in Municipal Procurement in Ukraine.”
From August 2024 to February 2025, EECU, together with experts from the NGO Center for Public Monitoring and Research and an energy efficiency expert, implemented the project “Reducing Corruption Risks in Municipal Procurement in Ukraine” funded by the CEELI Institute for Central and Eastern European Legal Initiative.
The project hsd two results:

- The training course “Fundamentals of Public Procurement” is available here.
Starting today, the training course is open to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in the field of energy efficient procurement! After completing all the topics and confirming your knowledge in the final test, you will receive a certificate of completion!
The course includes 8 topics, including:
- Procurement legislation and recent amendments to it.
- Open tenders and tender documentation.
- Procurement of works to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
- Current practice of monitoring of energy efficiency procurement by the State Audit Service under martial law.
- Procurement of generators, metal-plastic structures and energy services.
- Procurement of works that ensure energy efficiency.
- Installation of a solar power plant.
- Procurement without the use of an electronic procurement system.
