Visegrad 4 Road Show in Ukraine
This roundtable is part of the initiative “V4 Road Show in Ukraine” agreed by the V4 Deputy Foreign Ministers in Lviv on October 7, 2014, with the aim, first, to share reform experiences of the V4 countries with Ukraine in the selected policy areas, and second, to enhance coordination of the V4 assistance to Ukraine. The V4 countries agreed on their specific roles when it comes to sectorial focus of their assistance to Ukraine in its reform process related to the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU. Slovakia took over leadership in the field of energy. The aim of the roundtable in Lviv, which will be held under the auspices of Deputy Foreign and European Affairs Minister of SR Igor Slobodník, is to facilitate sharing of the V4 experience with Ukrainian partners in the field of improving energy efficiency and the use of renewables, including from the implementation of respective EU legislation and programs, their transposition into national legislation and policies of the V4 countries as well as learning from the best practices and successfully implemented projects in the field of energy efficiency in the V4 countries.
