Training program Pro Green Deal for Local Communities Program 2025

Green Deal Ukraine in partnership with the Florence School of Regulation and Kyiv School of Energy Policy are holding a selection process for the Pro Green Deal for Local Communities Program 2025!

Duration: April 7 - June 20, 2025

Format: Online/Offline

Time commitment: 4-8 hours per week

Language: Ukrainian/English (with the possibility of translation into Ukrainian)

Who: Regional energy, climate and environment advisors working in the offices of mayors of medium and small communities in Ukraine. Priority is given to the northern, southern, and central regions.

Application deadline: March 1, 2025.

Selected participants will be trained for three months on EU energy and climate regulations, introduced to the European Green Deal, and involved in workshops on energy efficiency and heat supply and practical projects.

How the training will look like:

• A hybrid format of lectures from leading European and Ukrainian experts.
• Intensive peer-learning sessions to share experiences with colleagues.
• Practical workshops on energy efficiency and modernization of heating systems.
• Development of a draft municipal energy plan for your community.
• An opportunity to become part of a community of like-minded energy experts.
