Svyatoslav Pavlyuk, Executive Director of the Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, was elected the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lvivvodokanal at the first meeting of the utility.
"Lvivvodokanal is one of the largest enterprises and the largest consumer of electricity in the region, and the peace and comfort of every family depends on its operation. I believe that together with my colleagues we will help the company become a more modern, energy efficient, reliable supplier of clean water, and help the community feel like its owners, and that the Lviv experiment will spread to other cities", commented Svyatoslav Pavlyuk on his Facebook page.
Lvivvodokanal's Supervisory Board will be the company's governing body and will determine the strategic directions of its development to ensure economic strength and stability, which will allow the company to fulfill its social functions.
The establishment of the Supervisory Board of Lvivvodokanal is a pilot project that, if successful, will be a good example for other cities.
"Today, there are few, if any, successful, completed formats of Supervisory Boards in the municipal public sector. Therefore, what you are starting is very important," emphasized Andrii Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.
We remind that the Supervisory Board also includes Dmytro Novytskyi, Chief Strategic Officer of Kyivvodokanal, Roman Lepak, Director of the Organization, Strategy and Corporate Governance Department of Kredobank, and Karina Topp, CEO of AARHUS VAND A/S (Aarhus, Denmark).
