“Integration of Sustainable Development in Ukraine in line with the European Green Deal": project results
“Integration of Sustainable Development in Ukraine in line with the European Green Deal” is a project that will be completed in December this year.
The project on the integration of the European Green Deal in Ukraine has been implemented by the Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, in a consortium of NGOs together with the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership, the Women's Energy Club of Ukraine, Dzyga, Plato, and the Resource and Analysis Center “Society and Environment”, under the general coordination of DiXi Group.
The main goal of the project was to help the maximum number of target audiences learn more about the EGD. A specialized web portal, online courses, training camps, and research contributed to achieving this goal.
The effectiveness of the efforts is evidenced by the results of three sociological studies on the EGD impact on Ukraine, according to which energy efficiency and environmental friendliness should be prioritized for reconstruction, and the implementation of European norms and rules meets the demand for reviving Ukrainian industry in a sustainable way. In particular, this involves the development of new promising production and the construction of modern, modernized, environmentally friendly enterprises.
