On the occasion of Constitution Day, we recommend that you read the material from hromadske.ua on the problems of the current legislation.

In an interview with former CCU judge Petro Stetsiuk, we discuss, in particular, one of the problems of the current Constitution - the vertical of power: the president is formally the head of state, whose powers include foreign policy and defense, but in reality there is an abuse of power.

The ex-judge also believes that the current version is the Constitution of a post-Soviet state, so in order to integrate into European constitutional traditions, the main law will need to be significantly updated or replaced altogether.
