First results of "School of Energy"

Within the project “Establishment of Energy Agencies in Ukraine”, implemented by „Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH“ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, the Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine" (EECU) launches the project “School of Energy".

“School of Energy" has started in January 2016 and will last until October 2016. In total, 25 selected schools all over Ukraine take part. Teachers are trained by German and Ukrainian specialists on energy education. Each school receives a set of educational materials and a specially developed box with the necessary technical tools. At their schools, teachers conduct many activities for energy saving together with their pupils, including so called pupils’ energy audits. The project ends with a final event, in which all project participants share and discuss their experience, achievements and future plans.
