"Energy Efficient Urban Renewal" Conference will take place in Kyiv City in March
We are pleased to invite you to the conference "Energy Efficient Urban Renewal" organized by the Center for Environmental Initiatives Ecodia and BE Berlin Economics GmbH in partnership with Bucha City Council and the Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine.
The event will take place on March 7 in a hybrid format: online and live in Kyiv.

At the event, experts and representatives of national and local authorities will discuss the opportunities and challenges of post-war community reconstruction according to the highest energy efficiency standards. The conference will include a presentation of a study jointly conducted with Berlin Economics entitled "Green Reconstruction of the Residential Sector: Feasibility Study for Bucha".
The study will present an analysis of the energy-efficient reconstruction of Bucha under different scenarios, depending on the cost and efficiency of the implemented projects, as well as cost savings in the future. In addition, the study includes the impact of energy efficiency measures on energy security, economic development, employment, and energy policy planning for the territorial community.
The event is organized within the framework of the project "Closing the Loop: A Just Energy Transition Designed by Cities and Regions" with the financial support of the European Union.
