EECU announces the selection of candidates for the European Energy Award Consultants
The offer is aimed at experts with management and public administration competencies in the areas of sustainable energy development and climate.
The Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine (EECU) announces a competitive selection of candidates for the European Energy Award (EEA) Consultants. It is expected that the selected experts will be trained and will support Ukrainian municipalities in the implementation of interdisciplinary planning approaches, energy and climate policy measures envisaged by the EEA quality management and certification system, and will be accredited accordingly.
The list of the Consultant's main tasks includes:
- support to municipalities in establishing working groups and regular participation in their meetings;
- conducting initial and interim energy assessments of the municipality;
- training community representatives on the basics of using the online EEU management tool;
- advising community representatives on the development and implementation of the EEU Action Programme, a targeted action plan for the municipality that provides for the implementation of the EEU for a four-year cycle;
- support community representatives in preparing quarterly and annual reports on the implementation of the EEA Action Programme;
- analysing the implementation of the EEA Action Programme and formulating recommendations for its update for the next certification cycle;
- preparation of the certification summary and the required package of supporting documents for the municipality's participation in the audit;
- participation in the municipality's award ceremony;
- post-certification minimum support of the city (for a year).
