Webinar “Sustainability of municipal public transport in the context of energy crises”

The Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine (EECU) and NGO Vision Zero invite representatives of local governments and municipal transport enterprises to participate in the webinar “Sustainability of municipal public transport in the context of energy crises”.
The webinar will take place on May 15, 2024, Wednesday, from 15:00 to 16:30.
The purpose of the webinar is to familiarize participants with the practice of adapting electric transport systems to planned and emergency power outages, as well as with the experience of using autonomous trolleybuses in Ukrainian cities.
Webinar participants will learn about the experience of the city of Dnipro in:
- adaptation of electric public transport use in the context of emergency power outages;
- operation of battery trolleybuses: procurement of trolleybuses and their cost, technical characteristics of vehicles, operational characteristics.
Those interested in participating are invited to register by May 13 via the registration form. Participants will also receive a link to the training materials, so please provide the correct email address when registering.
Vision Zero was founded in 2016 and focuses its efforts on three strategic areas around the theme of “Zero” in the mobility sector: improving road safety to achieve zero deaths, developing emission-free (electric) public transport, and barrier-free transport infrastructure and services.
