Join us at the launch event "Green, Affordable Housing for Ukraine: Let's Make It Happen!", together with Ukrainian authorities, municipalities, developers, commercial banks, and NGOs.
During the event, the SMARTER4EU initiative will be presented, highlighting the involvement of both the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and the Association Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine in its implementation. The project envisages development and launch of the green certification system for residential buildings in Ukraine as well as development of financial instruments for such projects.

SMARTER4EU is a two-year project that started in June 2023 and received funding under the European Union's LIFE Clean Energy Transition Program under grant agreement No. 101121060. SMARTER Finance for EU is a continuation of the SMARTER Finance for Families project. From October 2023 to February 2024, the project held a series of green building trainings for organizations, municipalities and relevant public authorities working to improve housing standards for vulnerable populations. The trainings were organized by the Romanian Green Building Council with international experts as speakers for each of the proposed topics.
