In June 2023, the Association "Energy-Efficient Cities of Ukraine", as part of an international consortium of organizations, started the implementation of the Smarter Finance for EU (SMARTER4EU) project, which is financed by the European Union’s LIFE Clean Energy Transition Programme under grant agreement no 101121060. SMARTER Finance for EU project became a continuation of the previous project SMARTER Finance for Families.
The project aims to promote the development of the field of "green" construction, including the development of "green" mortgage financing tools on the territory of the EU and candidate countries. In response to the energy crisis in Europe caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the project also focuses on hybrid green financing tools for vulnerable populations, including the integration of "green" solutions in the process of rebuilding Ukraine's destroyed and damaged infrastructure.
We invite organizations, municipalities and relevant state administration bodies working on elevation of vulnerable citizen's housing standards to participate in the online course aimed at supporting in finding innovative green financing mechanisms and green building guidelines. The trainings are organized by the Romanian Green Building Council with the involvement of international experts as speakers for each of the proposed topics. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive certificates.
