Sustainable energy days in the Chornomorsk community
Last week, the Chornomorsk community held Sustainable Energy Days, which were followed by a celebration of the outstanding achievements of young people. The Energy Future of the Community competition brought together 120 students from 9 educational institutions.
The students presented 10 different projects to the jury: from proposals for the use of solar panels to the development of energy-efficient houses, the young engineers demonstrated a deep understanding of modern energy-saving technologies.
One of the students of Chornomorsk Lyceum No. 4 presented a detailed energy saving plan for her school, including the installation of LED lighting, modernisation of the heating system and insulation of the premises.
The winners of the competition received valuable prizes, including solar panels for school laboratories, research kits and invitations to training seminars.
‘This competition is not just a competition, but a powerful incentive for the development of energy efficiency in our community,’ said Vasyl Guliaev, Mayor of Chornomorsk.
