Sustainable Energy Days 2024 in Myrhorod community

From 16 to 27 September 2024, the Myrhorod community held a flashmob ‘My Energy Saving Family’ for schoolchildren as part of this year's Sustainable Energy Days.

Schoolchildren created videos with their friends and families and drawings depicting energy saving and efficient energy use measures that they use at home. All participants of the flash mob were awarded with incentive gifts.

According to the organisers, the main goal of this year's events was to draw students' attention to the rational use of energy, energy saving and environmental protection. An additional bonus was that in this way, children not only learn the basics of energy saving, but also promote environmental awareness in their families.

Sustainable Energy Days are a mandatory awareness campaign for Covenant of Mayors signatory communities. EECU is happy to support its member communities that wish to join the events.
