First solar power plant of municipal property of Dolyna community

In Dolyna, a 16.2 kW solar power plant was installed at the Teremok pre-school. This project was implemented thanks to the community's victory in the regional project competition.

On the first day of operation, despite a rather cloudy day, the substation managed to generate about 30% of electricity compared to the total consumption.

"The development and implementation of renewable energy sources is an integral part of energy security. This will make our community more resilient to sudden power outages and save budget funds," commented Ivan Dyriv, Mayor of Dolyna.
