EU to End Financial Incentives for Fossil Fuel Boilers from 2025
The European Commission has released guidelines on ending public support for new gas, oil, and coal boilers installation. The document clarifies which types of incentives will be prohibited and which may remain. The changes apply at all levels - from national to local, and are part of the EU's strategy to decarbonize buildings by 2050
