City Climate Finance Gap Fund helps to implement climate projects in cities

Cities can count on technical assistance in the early stages of project development, but do not receive funding for the hard component of climate change mitigation and adaptation projects.

Four Ukrainian cities have already applied for the Gap Fund, including: Lviv, Vinnytsia, Korosten, and Poltava.

All you need to do to apply:

1. Download the application form on the website.
2. Fill it out and upload it via this link.

The City Climate Finance Gap Fund provides support in the following areas:

• Development of urban strategies, project assessment and potential of existing climate plans, strategies and investment programmes.
• Building city capacities to utilise low-carbon potential and climate resilience.
• Prioritisation of investment projects/ideas that are part of the city's climate strategy or investment programme.
• Development of conceptual ideas and individual components of feasibility studies for their feasibility.
• Eliminating gaps in the preparation of investment projects.
