Project objective: To strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian Covenant of Mayors signatories to counteract the negative effects of climate change in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal
Project goals:
- To create an online information resource that will help Ukrainian communities to more effectively assess climate threats, impacts on the community and plan adaptation measures.
- Identification of current and future climate change impacts on the territory of Ukrainian communities by conducting a nationwide study of the impact of climate risks on Ukrainian communities, lobbying for the identified community needs at the national level, and providing additional arguments for the official Ukrainian negotiating team.
- Organising online training for the Covenant of Mayors signatories and EECU member cities
- Strengthening the EECU's export potential in providing further support to communities in their participation in the EGD
