Beneficiaries: member cities of the Association and other cities of Ukraine that have electric public transport or plan to develop it
Project goal: to promote the modernisation and development of electric public transport in Ukrainian cities through its inclusion in public policy documents, in particular in modernisation and rehabilitation plans. Brief description of the project: The project will include an analytical review of European sectoral documents and national practices, as well as the development of proposals for changes to public policy that need to be made to Ukrainian legislation as part of the European integration process.
The expert team of the NGO "Vision Zero" will support the Association in the development of project applications with a sustainable urban mobility component, collection and dissemination of relevant information for member cities, preparation and conduct of training webinars, round tables and other events.
Expected project results:
- Analytical review of European sectoral documents and national practices;
- Development of proposals for changes to the state policy of Ukraine to promote the development of electric transport;
- Preparation and submission of project applications with a strong component of electric transport and sustainable urban mobility;
- Preparation and publication of analytical articles and news on the topic of electric transport;
- Preparation and holding of three open webinars;
- Study visits of the team of experts to three Ukrainian cities;
- Roundtables with representatives of local governments, NGOs and other key stakeholders in the public electric transport sector;
- Updating and expanding the database on electric public transport.
