Beneficiaries: 99 territorial communities from 14 regions of Ukraine
Project goal: ensuring the availability of key documentation and network schemes of communal services in Ukrainian cities, which will contribute to the rapid restoration of service provision and post-war infrastructure restoration.
Project results:
- awareness-raising activities in 797 territorial communities through military regional administrations, including 245 directly through letters from the EECU;
- methodological recommendations on preservation of documents on water supply and sewerage networks;
- methodological recommendations on backup copies of heat supply network documents;
- instructions and videos on how to make pictures/scan of documents;
- instructions on standardised methods of data storage (added to the methodological recommendations);
- backup of key infrastructure documentation for 99 settlements using hard drives transferred for permanent use;
- 81 GIS-based digital network diagrams of settlements;
- assistance in establishing a national depository of GIS documentation;
- development of asset directories for the inclusion of digital network data in the national urban planning cadastre, in particular, for amendments to the Structure of the geodatabase of urban planning documentation at the local level;
- participation in the preparation of the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Settlement of Certain Issues of Connection to Utility Networks" (registration number 5183 of 2 March 2021) and amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 220 of 4 March 2023 "On Approval of the State Anti-Corruption Programme for 2023-2025";
- analytical document on the digitization and backup of the main documentation of the utility infrastructure of Ukraine (to be completed);
- analytical document on the experience and lessons learned from the project and what makes sense to do in the future (to be completed).
