Position title: Project Manager

Job Description:

The Executive Directorate of the Association of Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine, with the support of the Swiss government, is launching a new phase of the 5-year international technical assistance project* in the field of energy efficiency, which is why we are looking for a responsible person to fill the position of full-time Project Manager in Lviv.

Location: Lviv

Position type: full-time

Duration: 5 years

Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Coordinating the work of the project team and ensuring effective communication between participants.
2. Planning and organization of project activities related to the implementation of the quality management system and certification of local governments.
3. Managing project resources in accordance with the requirements of the project's operational manual.
4. Monitoring project progress, reporting, risk analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
5. Communication with local governments, the donor, and stakeholders (relevant central and executive authorities, including the Ministry of Infrastructure - the project beneficiary).
6. Participation in meetings, presentations, and other project activities.

Requirements for candidates:

1. University degree (preferably in public administration or related disciplines).
2. Understanding of the peculiarities of local government, strategic planning processes in the areas of energy, energy efficiency, climate and mobility.
3. At least 5 years of general experience in municipal project management and/or cooperation with local authorities.
4. At least 3 years of experience in energy efficiency project management.
5. English language skills at least C1 (advanced) level.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Autonomy and the ability to perform a wide range of responsibilities.
8. Knowledge of certification systems (e.g. ISO50001), understanding of the Covenant of Mayors initiative approach and rating systems will be an added advantage.
